Jackie has a wonderful opportunity: On Sunday, May 31, 9 a.m. to noon, help plant 23 different species of woodland perennials in Hardenbergh Open Space and Maple Creek Park. More than 2,000 plants will be sown to fill in areas where buckthorn has been removed. Hardenbergh Open Space is a truly unique space among Plymouth's parks. Maple Creek Park neighbors have been successfully battling buckthorn for years. Come and check these places out!
Volunteers will follow safe social distancing practices. To register, let me know at jmaas@plymouthmn.gov or 763-509-5230 if you'd like to participate. I will send parking and other important information to those who have registered. I hope you can help out!
