Northern Star Council is offering a virtual hike/run, where Scouts can hike or run in their own neighborhood at any time from April 16 - April 30. The actual distance and means of transportation aren't important (no motorized vehicles), just get outside and adjust to your needs. If you sign up for the event, you will receive a patch for participating.

Patches available if you sign up through the "ticket link" for $5 per patch but not a requirement to participate.

When you go on a hike, pick up trash along the way. Weigh it when you get back home and email admin@troop283girls.net to have it count towards your patrol's total.

The patrol with the most trash collected will receive a deluxe ice cream sundae party for everyone, once we can meet in person again.

If the troop is able to collect a ton of trash, which is 100 pounds of garbage per Scout, everyone gets a pizza party.
