![]() Tyler Akins is putting on a week-long series of classes to help Scouts earn a mathematics-related Nova award, which is the first step to their Supernova medal. You can earn it by conducting a few experiments, discussing mathematics, and earning a merit badge. A part of this course will include the Signs, Signals, and Codes merit badge, though Scouts have the option to use another merit badge from a list of ones that are approved by national. To achieve the requirements of the award, a list of videos will be delivered and Scouts will discuss portions of the work each day of the week. Daily homework must be completed. In order to maintain a high level of interaction and because this is a bit of an experiment, the number of available tickets is extremely low. Once it gets posted to the council's site, it could fill up quickly. Cost: $15
When: June 8 - 11, 4:30 each day, class length varies Where: Online via Zoom
